What is Cellulite?

Cellulite - referred to as cottage cheese skin, orange peel, dimpled skin, etc. - is a visible formation of bumps on the skin due to a build up of underlying fat tissues. This dimple formation has an unsightly and irregular shape that can be quite displeasing to the eye; resulting in a significant drop in self-confidence for an afflicted individual.Women are more prone to cellulite formation in their bodies, especially those in the post-adolescent stage. The parts of the body that are most vulnerable to cellulite formation are thighs, stomach and buttocks. A common notion that cellulite is somehow related to obesity is not at all true, as even the slimmest women can be seen with cellulite formation in their body.

How is Cellulite Formed?

Excess fats, fluids and other chemical toxins get trapped within the layers of our skin due to improper circulation. Fat tissues start to harden and thicken resulting to lump formation in the skin. This behaviour of cellulite in our body results to irregular formations appearing on the skin's surface. Metabolism, age, hereditary traits, and the lifestyle of the individual can greatly affect the appearance and formation of cellulite.

What are the types of Cellulite?

There are two main types of cellulite. The first type would be the hard or solid cellulite. People with active lifestyles, like athletes and dancers, are more prone to develop this kind of cellulite in their body. This kind of cellulite is attached to muscle making it less visible to the naked eye. The downside of solid cellulite is that this type is not easy to get rid of because they are directly attached to the muscles of a person.

The second type of cellulite would be the soft kind. Soft cellulite is more visible to the eye because it tends to sag from the body. This type of cellulite is easier to remove than its solid counterpart.

How will you know if you have Cellulite?

How can you tell if you have cellulite forming in your body? The simplest method is by pinching your skin in the upper thigh. If lumps will appear, this is an indication that cellulite is starting to form in your body.

What factors influence cellulite formation?

Women are more prone to accumulate cellulite than men. Formations can start to appear in the affected areas at the mere age of 14.

You may wonder why some people, even though they eat like a pig, maintain slim bodies. These people have active metabolisms. This means that their body burns fats quite quickly. People who have slow metabolism typically have a greater chance of accumulating cellulite within their body.

How will I get rid of Cellulite?

Natural and free methods like exercise, healthy dieting, and cellulite massage are the most effective ways to get rid of cellulite. On the other hand, liposuction and other cosmetic treatments can be a quick solution, but they can not address your cellulite problem permanently. Moreover, those treatments are both risky and expensive.

To take it to the next step you can try the Kick-Butt Cellulite Redux program.

It is not a weight loss or a gym program, but a training schedule based on home exercises designed specifically to get rid of cellulite and is great for people who are skeptical towards creams, massages and other types of treatments.

With this program you will receive a great eBook with tons of great information about cellulite and how to cure it, videos with training routines targeting cellulite, and also bonus videos on how to tone your stomach and arms. Oh I almost forgot, one very valuable thing about the eBook you'll be getting is that it contains in-depth information about the latest cellulite reduction scams- this alone will save you a ton of cash.

There are many more things included in the program, but why don't you hear about it from Joey Atlas (certified personal trainer and author of the program) himself- Click on the button below to watch Joey's very entertaining video and learn more about this amazing cellulite reducing system.
